INJUNCTIONS
What is an Injunction?
An injunction is a court order, which requires parties to continue, or cease, particular actions. Failure to comply with an injunction may result in fines, arrest, or even prison time, depending on the situation. It is a flexible, but powerful, legal tool that can be applied to a seemingly endless variety of scenarios.
As the Accused
An accusation of domestic violence against you can affect your rights to carry firearms, see your children during the divorce proceedings, and can affect the outcome of a divorce. Additionally, such an accusation can limit or permanently restrict your ability to see your children and may require supervised visitation if you do see them. If you are accused of domestic violence we will work diligently to ensure that the truth behind the accusations is fully presented and your rights are protected to the fullest extent.
As the Victim of Domestic Violence
If you are the victim of violence, we will work hard to ensure complete protection before, during and after your divorce.
